Jess' standards must have been dangerously low if she really thought anyone should have been tolerating that bitter spittle. The wine looked better by the second. Apparently he was running low on favour around here, though, so he kept quiet, just narrowed his eyes at Jessica and raised a hand to the glass, hovering over it rather than risk touching it. They didn't know how lucky they were.
"What do you mean, 'since when'?" Tony challenged as he gave Bruce's new addition to the stew a prod, grimacing and sure that had been a terrible idea already. "Where did you find that...?" he muttered under his breath as he frowned at their dinner, but when he turned back to Bruce he continued, "What do you think I do all day?" To Jess then, he added, "Do I make it look that easy?"
