That was a lot to expect from Tony, after he had been thoughtful enough to invite them along at all. Baby steps. Sal didn't look completely impressed with him, though, and eyed Tony expectantly instead, seeing clearly what was coming next after graciously greeting his unexpected company. "And I suppose..."
"They'll be staying," Tony finished for him, gesturing to the bags with a bright grin, as though this was the best idea he'd had all week. He never had sleepovers as a kid. Okay, he might have been missing the Tower a little bit.
"Wow, does the homeowner know?" Sal wondered, stealing Tony's grin right off of his face. Before the overgrown chick invading his nest could make his case, Sal was ready with, "Why don't you have yourselves a campout not in my living room," gesturing to the shed they were looking out over where Tony hoped he kept his luxury camping goods, not where he honestly meant for anyone to sleep.
"Yeah, great idea. Or we could eat and then hit the town and I'll put you up in a hotel," Tony proposed to his entourage, hand out to test the temperature.
