Character: Kitty, Kurt Setting: Middle of the night, X-Mansion for now. Content: Nothing bad. Summary: Kitty can't sleep, therefore Kurt can't sleep either. That's just the rules.
2:00am. Kitty squinted her eyes to make sure she was seeing the little numbers right. Last time she checked it was about ten, had that much time really gone by? She shrugged, turning back to the holographic computer coding projecting in front of her. Time flies by when you're having fun. Except her eyes were starting to hurt now and hours in the same cross-legged position wasn't exactly comfortable. She took her stiff leg and pried it off of the other one, ow ow, and then pushed herself from her chair. Empty soda cans and a chip bag littered the computer table; she looked into the chip bag and frowned, then tossed her garbage into the trash before shutting down the computer room to leave. Kitty leisured down the hall, stretching out her limbs and yawning, but not feeling particularly tired.
She could continue to binge (re)watch Game of Thrones. She pursed her lips together thoughtfully. Oh, but she promised Lockheed she wouldn't watch it without him and anyway, she learned her lesson the first time. She had never seen a dragon look so betrayed. Smiling to herself, Kitty walked the dark, silent halls of the mansion, mostly to pass some time, but it didn't hurt to check the corridors for any sneaky students, then headed back to the faculty corridor. But instead of going to her room, she stopped in front of Kurt's, first peeking her head through the door before phasing on in as not to wake up Kurt. Only when she climbed into bed with him did it seem that that was her plan all along, and she pressed gentle kisses over his shoulder.
"Kurt..." she whispered, sing song-like, against his neck.
