"I think I could make a pretty good case that it does," Colleen smirked. And god, did she want to. Instead, she put her attention onto the bold orange kitten with the big blue eyes hugging her wrist, and held her up. She looked a lot like Ozzy; Colleen set her down with a bittersweet smile and watched the kitten as she went on to pounce on an unsuspecting bystander.
Jokingly, Colleen said, "Better not risk it," before she went back to playing with the others. It would be a while, feeling out all those personalities, before a soft coo caught her attention. Colleen watched as a patchy-patterned kitten with bright gold eyes sauntered past the others and sat right down in front of her and stared. This was it. This was that moment.
"<Misty>," she whispered as she picked him up. When it bumped its pink little nose against hers, Colleen's heart melted, and she knew right then. "<Misty, this is the one>."
