Tony must have been overworked, because it took him a moment to figure out what Steve was talking about before he started laughing at the delicate proposal. Pulling Steve's coat around his shoulders, still comfortably warm inside like a freshly dried towel, he conceded to bow his head against Steve's shoulder, eyes closed and smile tired but grateful. Slowly, he released the jacket to pass his hands up Steve's sides and pull him into a hug, holding his breath to suffocate the grateful shiver he could feel knot at the base of his spine before it betrayed him. "Don't tell me the hot, young thing you got to keep you company can't keep up," he murmured, sly grin in his voice but his eyelashes fluttered against Steve's neck and Tony didn't relax yet. It was okay, honestly, if Steve hadn't waited around for Tony and his problems.
