"It's not fine," she argued weakly," rubbing a hand over her eye. She didn't know what she was on, but she felt like she was still half trapped in that fog she'd come out of, and she didn't know how to express herself. Tony needed to understand. She'd be selfish, and wrong, and- "...I love you." And that wasn't quite what she'd meant to say, but it seemed to express the right sort of feeling.
