Depending on Rankin's mood, punching the man in the face could have been a very dangerous move for Kurt to make. He was glad his good sense prevailed and, had Kitty known how near the miss was he supposed she'd be glad to. As it was, he just grinned a little too sheepishly and pulled her close for a hug. "You can tell me anything, Katzchen," he murmured into her hair. Kurt pressed a kiss to her forehead and stepped back. It was probably best he get her mind off this and, he remembered, he'd come here for a reason in the first place. He changed the subject of their conversation and put Calvin out of his mind- for now.
