The ring of gunfire had Iron Man flinching back even before the fight came to them, drifting away from Alex and searching the ground floor like he could see through the walls. He didn't have to wait long for those walls to reveal their own secrets, sending him shooting up into the air and out of the way of a flurry of testosterone, spinning to watch Thor throw himself at Ares. "Woah, time out!" he called, bringing his hands up into a 'T' in case that made any more sense to the meat heads, but he wasn't the most interesting thing in the yard to them. "Pump the breaks," he insisted as he dropped down between them, hands up to stop Thor on the offensive here, and in position then to face--that fucking kid making his getaway. He gestured with a world-weary disappointment at Alex scrambling over the roof so Thor could see what his roughhousing cost them, but hardly got his dramatic sigh started before he was jerked off of his feet and found his face planted in the mud.
