Tony called her Jessie, she knew that. And she knew Bruce. What Jessica didn't know was why she would come here, or why she would wake up with a splitting headache and the thing in her arm. What trouble was she in besides this? She thought she wanted to believe him, if that was in fact Tony she could now vaguely see and hear, but nothing about her situation was coming together right away still, all that made sense to her was the fear in her heart and her instinct to either fight or flee. Jessica grunted as she backed into a wall, feeling her hand around for an exit that wasn't there before her entire body got hot with vertigo and she had to hold on to it for support. So much for the adrenaline.
Still, she had the will of a fighter and one good venom blast, though keeping the energy up was exhausting and it showed. Jessica narrowed her eyes stubbornly, trying to come up with a feasible plan. The problem was that her brain wasn't exactly cooperating. "What do I...what do I call you?" Not what she meant to ask, but it served the same purpose. A small comfort, maybe. Jessica needed to know for sure that was really Tony.
