Up until that point, Tony had himself convinced that the getting her here was going to be the hard part. Now that he was trying to arrange her face on the table without it looking uncomfortable, he was sure he was in deep trouble. Still, he said to Bruce with all of the assured confidence he had, "I know what a brain looks like." Jess' nose looked a little mashed, but maybe if Tony put her head in a vice this would resolve itself. He let her head flop lifelessly to the side as he followed Bruce at the sink, drawing the suit into his bones and shifting into something more comfortable. Sweats were appropriate for surgery, right? Tony could only remember his doctors in bikinis.
The best he had to offer Bruce was a tray full of fine tools he had been using to knit together the LMDs, but even as he wheeled it up he had to consider Bruce's ready hand with those clippers. Maybe he wasn't really necessary here. Maybe he could slip out and get himself a drink before anybody noticed.
