It felt like an endless maze. Spider-Woman couldn't have been too far out, though, and found herself inside a small dome with a shallow pool of stale sewage below. Large rats, god, climbed up a dull metal ladder and formed a line along the cemented ledge; the bio-electricity around her hand dimmed, and she used the small flicker to light her way into the next blackened tunnel. She tried not to think of all the bacteria probably swimming around in her hair or how long the stench would follow her after this. Instead, she let her mind go blank, and followed the sound of the flowing fissure until she saw a hazy spot of light at the very end, no bigger than a coin at first, growing gradually wider and wider until the light shown against a thin line of dark ripples.
The water fell loudly into an abyss, and before her were three new pathways. Spider-Woman was confident enough in her choice to dive forward, until she heard something sound loudly from her chosen passageway. Quickly, she flew slightly higher up and adhered to the arch above it, her venomous energy waiting at her fingertips. It could've been another large rat. A soon-to-be-dead large rat.
