While Misty was right to be enthusiastic , Colleen was willing to bet that Jan knew exactly how lucky she was, they had been a 'thing' long enough-- Colleen nodded along anyway and sipped her drink, then asked, "Have you not had his macaroons?" Just as the question left her mouth, Colleen had the look of someone who just busted herself out. Those macaroons never did make it home that day. Huh. "Me neither," she shook her head with her glass against her lips, and was already chuckling away her innocence. Oh well. Jasper made her peach tarts.
Colleen moved so that he could sit between them and cast the beer she had bought for him casually to the far side of her before helping herself to a tart. "I would let her if I were you," she said, as if there was some mysterious consequence to be had if he dare deny the birthday girl.
