"Not a problem," Colleen smiled. "We will work with your schedule, it sounds like you will have your work cut out for you. And, you know, Misty was in the force! She can tell you all about it. And we know people, so if you want to get your networking on, Misty still gets party invites." In her experience, a lot of paintball went on at those things. Colleen glanced at Jasper's notepad, doodling in plain view with Misty on the side of him was a pretty bold move. Not that Colleen's notes were any better, hers were just scribbles. She smirked and asked her next question.
"Do you like cats?" It was perfectly relevant. "And are you willing to recognize that not all felines are thousand year old malevolent, soul-eating monsters?" By the end of that question, Colleen was leaned forward, staring over at Misty before she slowly reclined back against the couch, wearing a small grin. "We are getting a cat," she explained, matter-of-fact. "Pets are good for the well-being, and our job is very stressful. But as a vigilante, I am sure you understand the pressure."
