This was turning into a disaster. Jasper really hoped he had at least asked all of the right questions, because every other part of his job was turning against him, right down to the read he should have had on this client instead of it being the other way around. At first, Jasper didn't intend to deign the question with a response, clearing his throat instead and taking some careful notes that amounted to a very slow, very firm 'one week'. He wanted to continue his own line of questioning and keep this interview on track.
"Not exactly," he had to defend himself. As far as Mr. LeBeau knew, this was just how the Heroes for Hire conducted their business. As far as Jasper could tell, this was the royal treatment. He didn't need this guy thinking he could take advantage of the chaos. This was Jasper's chaos, nothing was out of place, he wouldn't stand for the insult. "I just don't like explosions in my office."
