Jasper wasn't particularly interested in hearing the details of Mr. LeBeau's precise measurements, his own curiosity starting at 'innocent' and ending firmly before 'morbid'. On the other hand, he was frankly astounded that a man would invoke a repeat confrontation with a giant lizard that might have swallowed him. "About as intelligent as a normal alligator?" he clarified, lip raised in trepidation at the size of that tooth. Maybe this was more of a Stature job. "I mean, when you killed it, it wasn't by any..." Jasper tried to say, waving a hand thoughtlessly toward Mr. LeBeau before regretting the motion and the multitude of ways he tried to apologize despite himself; "Not that you look, that is to say, I don't mean to imply you're..." with a hand waving in front of his own face. Jasper cleared his throat and returned resolutely to his notes, not sure what he had been writing or what he had even been asking, but certain this was safer than meeting Mr. LeBeau's strange eyes.
