This was more information, and more of an invitation, than Tony expected to get out of this venture, and he hadn't expected to be comfortable with anything he found but he wasn't anticipating this kind of discomfort. That was a good call on the head-clearing flight; it could have been longer for Iron Man who would have been happy to play around her for as long as it took for this whole mess to come to a natural end-- he only worked up the familiar confidence to tease her with a single push of his repulsors under her gliders before she was bringing them down again. At least it wasn't the ground.
It took him longer to sit, lingering on his perch like he needed the absolute best view this vantage point could offer before slowly settling down next to Spider-Woman, his boots thudding heavily against the wall. He had to laugh at her opening, though wasn't so ready to show his face, fidgeting instead. "I didn't go anywhere," he pointed out, letting the obvious lie for now. He definitely wasn't the one that disappeared into Hammer's clutches. Yet. "I could always, you know, if you needed anything..." Maybe that hadn't been so obvious, but it was out there now and if there was anything he could do to pull her out of this trouble-- maybe it was about time he pulled off his helmet. He meant it, she didn't have to stay on this fucked up team, whatever Hammer did to her didn't have to stand.
