Leaving the bottle well within her reach to keep the party going, Tony gracefully pushed back up to his feet to swing around her and lean casually on the back of her chair, saying, "If that's how you like to do it, I'm open-minded, darling." Luckily, Happy wasn't even on the premises last time Tony checked, so Pepper was going to have to give that bottle the old college try and see where they ended up. On the desk sounded good, they hadn't done that in a while. This Pepper didn't know anything about the terrible cramp Tony had ended up with last time.
With confident and suspiciously practiced precision, Tony plucked pins and clips from Pepper's hair to let it down gently around her shoulders, carrying the soft tendrils as he went so none had to drop and he could arrange them affectionately. "Is anyone else here?" he asked innocently, as though her suggestion about Happy prompted his first thought about the hour and the strangely quiet office. "Might as well share..." Of course, Pepper would know exactly how alone they were. She knew everything about this place. She was an angel.
