Wanda, asleep in her bed, felt the machine power up but didn't wake immediately. Her dreams turned to desert sands and clawing monsters, and she mumbled when the energy crackled and Tony tumbled through but it still didn't wake her. His smacking his head on the table did and her bedside table lamp clicked on a second later. "Wha-" she began, disoriented, and raised glowing fingertips defensively as she climbed out of bed. She was having a difficult time processing exactly what she was seeing.
"Tony?" she took a few steps towards him, but stopped short with a suspicious expression on her face. The machine was already powered down, had fizzled out before she was fully awake, and now there was a Tony on her floor and she didn't know which one it was. He was drunk maybe, but if it was that Tony how did he even get in here? Window? Picking the lock, was a possibility but not very likely. The only other option was that this was the Tony who'd been gone for an entire month getting into who knew what kind of trouble in another universe. Meanwhile the Tony here had likewise disappeared and, if the news was any indication, was busy making Stark Enterprises one of the wealthiest companies in the world, rather above and beyond the instruction to serve as a placeholder for Tony until Tony got back.
"Are you alright?" she asked and dropped her glowing hands to cross her arms, supposing that if it was either Tony she had no reason to shoot a hex bolt at him. Well, maybe this world's Tony for taking so damned long to get back.
