The phone call from Tony asking for Happy's help had been kind of vague. Actually, it had been something along the lines of "Coffee problem. Hungry mob. Strong man." and then the boss had hung up and Happy called Pepper to figure it out. Then he gathered a couple guys from the gym and they'd come to the Starbucks to play security with the rowdy crowd. One guy was stationed just outside the door and another further down the line outside to keep it all orderly. Happy had the lobby and so far he'd already thrown out three college guys and a middle aged woman.
Things hadn't exactly calmed down, but his patented get-the-fuck-away stare that he used at events when people got too close to Tony seemed to be working pretty well here. Most people glanced his way and seemed to decide that complaining wasn't worth it (especially after he'd led some rowdy customers out). The meatheads hassling the redhead in line apparently hadn't got the memo and when the mob mentality dictated that they all take up against her, he chose to intervene.
"Hey," he shouted over the rabble and muscled his way between the lady and the guy nearest who was getting in her face. The people in line in front of her spread out, shuffling out of his way, and the ones who'd been yelling momentarily quieted. "I've been over there-" he pointed to the wall he'd been leaning against in the middle of the lobby where he had a pretty good view of the entire room. "And this woman's been in line the whole time. So lay off."
