"I'll say," she concurred with her brows raised and her hands on her hips. Obviously, she chuckled to herself, but she was letting bygones be bygones. Besides, what else could she say that everyone else hadn't said? What could she say that Kurt didn't know already? Maybe she should have yelled at him when she'd had the chance. Kidding. Without another word, she threw her arms around Kurt and hugged him.
"Bad decisions aside," Kitty murmured, teasing, "I know your heart was in the right place. And I'm sorry for giving you the cold shoulder for as long as I did, it was pretty excessive." So she could hold a grudge! It was definitely time to let this one go. They did have the SHIELD inspection to think about that she accepted wasn't going to go away. And although things had been relatively calm there at the Mansion, keeping their issues unresolved wouldn't work in their favor when the time came, she was sure.
Kitty drew back smiling, but not sure she should be 100% relieved yet. "So, we're okay? Because honestly, avoiding you is a lot harder than it seems."
