That was a relief. For a second there, she thought he might try to avoid her--not that Kitty totally blamed him, with all the verbal backlash he'd gotten earlier (and the bloody nose, which she did not support, for the record), she wouldn't want to be around anyone either. But she didn't hate Kurt, even at her angriest she didn't hate him, and she certainly didn't hate him now. She knew that look. "Don't worry, I'm unarmed," she said with a wry smile, holding her hands up freely. She lowered them and looked down, biting her lip. Things had changed between them and she wanted to fix that.
"I don't wanna keep going on like this," she sighed deeply. "The whole avoiding--not talking to each other thing, that's kinda why I was upset to begin with." Kitty furrowed her brows before she looked back up at Kurt. "For a while, it had been just the two us keeping everything together, and--well, when you went off to talk to Hammer without telling me, it kinda hurt my feelings." Now, she tried to make light of that with a chuckle, or maybe she just felt really childish then. Slipping her hands into her pockets, Kitty shrugged. "I wish you'd told me, and I don't understand why you felt like you couldn't."
