Tony wasn't supposed to accept the plea easily or happily, but by the third flattery he was beaming, all of his haughty acidity gone. It must have been genuine because he gave his lip a self-conscious bite before Steve had even finished, and willingly reached out with the hand he had raised to halt the procession to take Steve's and lead him down into the bakery. He didn't really have to say 'yes', it had been yes all along. He dropped Steve's hand before they were through the door and stopped him again at the counter, demanding, "Coffee, black, fast," of the kid who didn't have nearly enough to keep him occupied in this place. They were going to have to advertise more, this was pathetic. For later-- Tony needed to gather some energy and focus it all on the project at hand. It was very important work. A lot of complicated, very long tests to run. A lot of Steve staying very, very still.
