While Tony enjoyed a bit of crowd pleasing dazzle, it wasn't usually at his expense and glitter was rarely a preferred accessory. He winced as it rained down on him, looking around in surprise because that definitely wasn't part of his careful machinations and leveled a competitive glare at Cap innocently waving up above. He was going to regret that. Shaking his head and trying to pat the glitter out of his hair (with some tentative help from his new friend, who didn't know what to do with herself anymore) only made the situation worse, sending it fluttering to cling to more of him and any part that had survived the first assault. Tony gave up quickly to climb the float again instead. Not to resume his post at Cap's side, no, the days of their camaraderie and Thanksgiving union were over. Tony grabbed a handful of the sparkling snow-product as he hauled himself up onto the top tier and rubbed it lovingly over Cap's big, fat cowl, leaving him glittering like a holiday bauble with stupid little wings.
