The smallest smirk crept over his face when he noticed that look on hers. He couldn't help it. Nick knew that look and he hadn't seen it in a long time, not since he'd had two eyes. Hadn't ever expected to see it again. Somehow it was simultaneously flattering and disconcerting.
"What's the going price for information and subversion?" was Nick's dry answer, though his smile hadn't dissipated. He couldn't even begin to imagine what she'd ask of him because he knew, whatever he might come up with, she'd top it and make it a thousand times worse. It was a unique talent. He knew damned well he wasn't getting off easy here but he wasn't stupid enough to expect a favor with no return, either.
