Oh, lord, I think I deserve a little better than this.
Characters: Kurt & Justin Setting: Early evening, Hammer Industries in Queens Content: Nothing questionable Summary: Kurt needs to discuss the X-Men's future
"I need to see Mr. Hammer, please. Tell him it's Kurt," Nightcrawler said as pleasantly as he could to the young receptionist in the lobby of Hammer Industries who was staring at him with a familiar fear. He sort of wished he'd caught Hammer at S.H.I.E.L.D., at least there they saw a thousand stranger things than a blue skinned mutant on a daily basis and wouldn't have thought anything of his standing smiling in their lobby.
Probably he should've brought his image inducer but he wasn't fond of using it and he hadn't planned to be out in public- just a drive here and in to see Justin if the man had time for him. Kurt knew he was busy these days, he ought to have made an appointment. All this hindsight was 20/20 though, as the saying went, since Kurt was already here and the girl was nodding and gesturing for him to take a seat.
Sinking into a comfortable leather chair, Kurt glanced around curiously, offering the receptionist a smile when he caught her staring. She quickly looked away and he shook his head a little ruefully. Definitely the image inducer next time, though not with Justin; having seen him at his very worst, Hammer wasn't someone Nightcrawler thought he ever needed to hide his face from.
