The knocking was strange and completely unexpected since the doorman hadn't called up to tell Wanda she had a visitor. Her confusion only grew when she looked through the peephole and saw her brother standing there. It wasn't that he was here unannounced, doing things on a whim wasn't nothing new for Pietro and that the doorman might not have seen him came in explained that part, what she didn't understand was the hesitance. He still had a spare key, why would he knock? She flung open the door and flung her arms around him, surprising herself with the move because until he was standing there she didn't realize that she'd been missing him worse than she'd thought. "You don't have to knock," she told him when she stepped back and led him into the living room.
