Sue wasn't expecting a quick reply, not even close. She also knew that if she just sat around waiting for him to call back she would just get more and more anxious. Tapping fingers and glowering would ensue. So instead Susan went to wash out her coffee mug and turn the pot off. She used a threat, but that didn't mean he would react that much faster.
Color her surprised when the phone rang within an hour of her leaving a message! Grabbing the phone she knew it was him. No argument there. So she picked up right away and answered. Before she got no more than a 'Hello' out before he started in on her. Why did she bother? With a sigh she rubbed at her forehead. He never even said Reed's name anymore. Not that he needed to, just something she noticed. Her hip bumped the cupboard as she frowned into the phone. "Brunch? Namor, that equipment needs to be returned. Where is it? And just where are you?"
An hour? He had to be closer then. He couldn't make that timetable if he was back in Atlantis. Oh why argue, he was going to just keep talking around her until she agree to meet him. So much for a lazy day. She'd need to get dressed. Glancing down at herself she rolled her eyes. "Fine. An hour, but I'm serious about the equipment. Where do you want to meet?"
