If the strength of Tony's grip on her hair was any indication, he was going to be just fine. Wanda spat out a few choice curse words she rarely used as she wrested herself from Tony's grasp and then rolled onto her back. Just in time, too, the crocodile had recovered from its shock and was bearing down on them again. She thrust her hands out to get a shield above she and Tony just as the monster's massive jaws snapped closed. The thing made a strangled cry of frustration somewhere between a groan and a hiss- obviously it didn't have the same language capability as the jackal and the hawk but it didn't really need it. Not with those teeth snapping, those got the message across pretty clearly.
While the Devourer was groaning at its temporary impediment and the pain in its mouth from hitting the barrier, Wanda turned her attention briefly to the pair on their platform, staring aghast at their fallen scale. "We are gods!" Thoth screeched (actually sounding a lot like a hawk) when he noticed her gaze and Wanda quirked an eyebrow, unimpressed. You were supposed to be respectful to gods, that was how it worked, but all that had earned them was Tony having his heart ripped out and something out of Peter Pan trying to take a bite out of them. Respect was no longer an option on the table, they'd lost that privilege.
"You're not my gods," she pointed out and then sent a hex bolt at the scale that exploded it, knocking both gods back with enough force, she hoped, to keep them down. Maybe she'd pay for that in the real afterlife but she wasn't going to die today. Three on two wouldn't have been fair odds, especially when one of them was injured and one of them was a towering reptile. That particular reptile had turned to look at the explosion and Wanda took the opportunity to rise into the air right in front of it and draw its attention. It opened its mouth wide when it noticed her but she moved back and it followed, swishing its tail. She led it around in a wide circle, away from Tony, trying to keep him out of the range of its tail and keep its eyes on her.
"You alive over there?" she called out, concerned and maybe just a tad impatient. If he couldn't fight then he could at least try and hide himself and if he could fight well, anytime now. Wanda struck out with a hex bolt right between the crocodile's eyes and she didn't know what it actually did to it but it was clearly something bad by the noises it started making and the wild way it started pivoting its tail. She used the distraction to glance over her shoulder and see how and what Tony was doing. "Having fun yet?" she added blithely, this had been his adventure after all and, like he'd said, if what you're doing doesn't at least get you a little wet, you're in the wrong business. Well, she was pretty sure he wasn't enjoying this. Maybe she was, just a little.
