Okay, so Kurt was mostly right--Kitty would much rather Calvin be doing something productive with his time, and sure, they did need the help. But--ugh. Kitty hopped off the counter and grumbled her way to the refrigerator. "He's just so..." She pulled out a soda, closed the door and leaned against it. "Calvin dances to the beat of his own drum. I'm talking full on we're dancing over here--" She held a hand up to demonstrate, "and he's like dancing, way, waaay over there." It would almost be 'endearing' (and she was using that term loosely) if he wasn't so damned annoying about it. "I mean, I guess with some refinement, he'd make a nice enough X-Man. Major refinement, his powers are out of control and that could hurt us more than help us. And--" Kitty chuckled. "His student skills kind of suck. If he's going to be a teacher, he needs to go through some serious training...and then I'm thinking a three-week trial period when term starts." She just couldn't see Calvin being responsible for a big group of students, he'd already lost one once! Kitty nearly choked on her soda at the thought.
