"Huh." Back then they would have been no way he could have known. The whole shield collar sort of ruined any chances of him finding out about a mutant the normal way. Still, this had his interest and judging by Cal's mimic sensing abilities she had more going on there then just a little flicker of fire. "So you got all the talents and the square has none? Pretty good deal I'd say." That meant the Mary-Sue slice more or less had to rely on the sex kitten part of her brain in order to survive the scraps they got in. Which must have worked out for Typhoid. Mary needed her.
"Shitty." He replied with a huff as he thought back on last few adventures he'd found himself in during these past few summer months. "I jumped parole." Cal explained with a sigh as he glanced down at his glass. "So, It should be getting a lot worse real soon." But, hey that was the price you paid when the collar was off. And make no mistake.. that thing was not coming on again anytime soon. "I've also been playing the babysitter a lot lately. Buncha mutants have a school upstate. I've got a nice little hidey hole there." Hopefully he could still use the X-folks as a buffer for the day Shield comes knocking on his door. At the very least they'd make a good distraction. "What about you?"
