"Yeah!" Jasper agreed, overexcited that she understood what he was trying to say before snapping his mouth shut to tone down the enthusiasm. In the end, maybe that would be such a good thing to be able to commiserate about; if they were both finding it difficult to have a personal life, it was going to get exponentially difficult to have a personal life together. Was he getting ahead of himself? He'd only tentatively secured a second date, not some kind of commitment. "I mean, the world's not going to save itself," Jasper grinned, puffed up with some pride for both of them. Her statement was a little strange, though. "Didn't you-- I mean, weren't you with, uh, dating... Dr. Pym?" Of course there weren't going to be a lot of people that understood Avengers stuff better than an Avenger. And that, apparently, didn't work out. Jasper was overthinking it again.
