Jasper wasn't going to argue with that, and he was doing his best not to blush, either, but that one was a lot harder. The first one wasn't even over and he already had a second date; he must have done something right. "We could cook," he offered to make sure she was paying attention, already shrugging it off before she could answer so she didn't think he was serious about inviting himself to her home. It was a very nice home, and he would very much like to use that kitchen, but he didn't have the confidence to presume even a second meeting like she did. Which made sense. "I haven't been on a second date in years," he mused aloud with some surprise, which might have explained his lack of practice.
