Kaaaate
After she'd dropped off groceries at Aunt May's (who was really happy about the milk, just like Cassie figured she'd be) she decided to make one more stop and found herself heading for Kate's apartment. Chances were if she wasn't here she'd be at S.H.I.E.L.D. and Cassie would have to go back and come weirdly full circle in her day. Might as well see someone else and make another apology, even though she'd at least managed to already apologize over the radio and had talked to Kate over it a couple times since so maybe it wouldn't be so bad or totally awkward and it'd be pretty great if she could get through it without crying like a little kid again. She went inside and to the elevator that she was surprised was working, but also incredibly grateful for. She'd been walking around all day and stairs weren't especially appealing. At Kate's door she took a deep breath and then knocked, telling herself sternly that she wasn't going to cry.
