"Oh hey," she grinned when he approached and then looked around at the line, which was barely moving, and nodded almost glumly. "Yeah, I figured Aunt May would like it," Cassie explained. Calling Peter's Aunt 'Aunt' came weirdly naturally to her. It felt better than just calling her May and she thought they were a little closer than Mrs. Parker at this point. "She also wanted some canned stuff. I think she's going to try to make a casserole for dinner." Cassie turned to give him a slight accusing glare, though she was still smiling. "We were wondering if you'd be joining us tonight." Cassie was at Peter's house more than Peter was these days, and she helped him keep up his excuses to his Aunt because she, of all people, understood how important patrolling and helping out as Spider-Man was both to him and to the city's recovery. "That house rebuilding volunteer stuff sure is keeping you busy," she joked with an innocent expression.
