"See, not so bad, is it Jasper?" she smiled and gave him a pat on the shoulder when she'd finished and drew her hand away. "And now you're perfectly fine, as far as I'm concerned. Probably not the doctors, your body needs time, not magic tricks, to recover after all," she said bitterly but in a passable imitation of their formidable S.H.I.E.L.D. nurse. Who, Wanda decided within the next thirty seconds that she noticed the woman looming the doorway, had to be psychic.
"That's very true," the nurse said, eying them both with obvious disapproval. "And being in your bed helps too," she continued with a pointed look at Jasper and then turned back to Wanda with a condescending smile.
"Are you a doctor, Miss Maximoff?" she asked with her eyebrows raised.
"Well, no obviously, but-" Wanda began but was immediately cut off.
"Then please stop treating our patients." That was the end of the conversation, apparently, because the woman ushered Jasper back into his bed and yanked the curtain closed with a resounding snap before she went to examine whatever evils the witch's magic might have inflicted on him when good old fashioned science and medicine would have sufficed just fine. With a pout Wanda laid back down on her pillow and put her back to the curtain and her new acquaintance. They could talk later after the actual witch in the room was gone.
