Perhaps the technology was called something else. Clint wasn't entirely sure. Whatever the case they did need to start preparing in case of a Magneto attack. That guy had gotten the drop on them an embarrassing number of times now. Barton was almost ready to start calling him the Avengers arch-foe. Just how many times had he wrecked shop now? On Three- or four occasions at least. It was just awful to think about. But, at least this time they did get to blow up his house in partial retaliation.
Whatever the case, Clint sincerely believed their best hope for stopping Mags was in Wanda. The Scarlet Witch had abilities that no one quite understood but everyone respected. She was arguably the most powerful mutant in the world. And it was well past time she started figuring out a way to use those abilities of hers to fuck up dad. But that was a subject for another day. Clint was not about to broach the topic right after she'd just awoken from a fresh beating. Even he realized that was terrible idea. He'd just pocket the thought for now and turn to other things, like trying to see if the TV in this room worked. The power was on again in the station they were in so he didn't see why not?
Barton got up from his spot and walked on over to the TV in the room. He glanced over the controls briefly and started fiddling with it. "Hey. This thing has a VCR. I haven't seen one of these in years. I wonder if they have any movies?" He heard Wanda's suggestion about living together, but didn't really think anything of it. I mean, if her place was still in one piece then sure? It's not like there was a tower to go back to right now. He assumed most of the other Avengers would be finding temporary living solutions too. "Yeah. Sure." He answered flatly just as the TV came on. "Ok, they have two movies here. Pearl Harbor and..Titanic. God both of these sound awful."
