What Wanda saw in the man making his tentative way across the room was less 'freak' and more 'awkward' which was perfectly acceptable given that sharing a room with a complete stranger was a rather awkward situation. Except that maybe they weren't complete strangers because Wanda was sure she'd seen him somewhere- probably here, honestly, because if he was S.H.I.E.L.D. and he was someone Fury was personally visiting then chances were they'd met at least once. She couldn't really be expected to know his name, though; there were a lot of agents in S.H.I.E.L.D.
She didn't speak just yet, only gave him an encouraging smile to send him on his way rather than prolong his social bumbling any longer. Once he came hobbling back out she broke the ice with a polite "Hi" for the man behind the curtain who had, up to now, been the silent audience to the whole of her conscious convalescence. She studied him with interest, trying to guess at what exactly was the cause of his burns but it probably wasn't polite to ask. Maybe he would let her heal them so she could feel useful. Probably wasn't polite to ask that, either.
