As for Jessica, pulling back wasn't so easy when a jet was coming her way. No matter how she calculated this, something or hers was going to get hit, and worst-case scenario, it would be her head. If that happened, she was willing to bet someone would have to go fishing for it. In short, Jessica had only enough time to take the jet in full and did so with all the strength she had in order to fight the impact as it slammed into her. Adhering to the surface, she climbed over it, pretty sure her ribs were crushed, and hung on for as long as she could to catch her breath. "I'll follow you out," she coughed into the identicard. She could see helicopters flying out, and leapt into the air before the jet hit the water and took her with it, grinding her teeth together as she bared the pain.
