The Avengers were fighting back. How noble. How stupid. As if the giant woman had a chance of saving the ship when he had every intention of pulling it apart. He set about that task now and would have ripped the entire craft in half it if it weren't for those meddling kids the arrow that struck his barrier. It was a laughable gesture- until the sound. Magnus gritted his teeth and closed his eyes and fought with all his concentration to keep his hold on the helicarrier. Distantly he felt metal in motion, planes and helicopters leaving the deck, but if he tried to stop their escape he would lose out the forest for the trees. It wasn't worth it.
When the noise finally faded he found he had a new energy assaulting- and nearly shattering- his shield. He had to strengthen that and reclaim his full hold on the ship (which meant wrenching it up out of the giant woman's hands and sending a long crack right down the middle of it). Magnus gritted his teeth and dragged one of the jets rising through he air off course to rush towards Spider-Woman while several of the ship's missiles while several of the carrier's missiles detached themselves from jets and shot towards the giant woman's head where he would detonate them. Meddlesome cretins, the lot of them. He would have to finish this soon.
