The correction came just in time, Tony's gaze finally snapping to Pietro's face at 'him' with steely anger for presuming to give the pieces arranged on the floor that level of humanity. Tony didn't know when he had given Pietro the impression that he would care to fix this robot rather than building a better, more useful one when he had the opportunity or even the need, or that it had been a 'him' at all. That was all in Pietro's head, and making Tony spitefully defensive, resenting that he already reacted at all like this meant anything.
"You left for this?" he accused, as if that had been his issue with the display all along, suddenly hard and sure. Honestly, Tony didn't give a shit where Pietro went as long as it didn't become another problem for Tony to solve, but this little excursion wasn't even a justifiable danger the asshole was putting himself in. Did he want to end up looking like Dummy? There was only so much Tony could fix, and not enough of Pietro's parts were man-made to put them all back together again.
