"Have you been to Olympus?" Alex asked, trying not to sound too interested. While Alex had done his share of research, he had only been to the realm of gods twice. Once, when he had been kidnapped, and then again when he had been named Phobos. He was more ignorant of his father's world than he cared to say. "Earth's not so bad. I'm pretty fond of it," he added with a smirk, "...When dead people aren't trying to eat you, at least."
He laughed at Loki's expression over the candy, which helped to soften the frown that had come with his answer. Lonely sounded about right. "You'll be much lonelier here. Humans don't live very long." Not long at all.
"Maybe sweets aren't your thing. Don't judge our culinary prowess based off a teen aged kid's survival pack," he cautioned with a smile.
