The woman wasn't stupid. Namor had to give her that. He watched her take in the scene and inspect the way his people labored out the insides of the Baxter and knew she was catching on to them. This could become bothersome soon if he let it. He didn't like that at all. Perhaps he'd try one last time to defuse the situation. After all she was such a lovely little thing and he very much wanted to bed her. A new tactic. "They might if they were still among the living." He began with a small shrug. Namor got his feet and took a second sip of his wine as he walked over to join her side. "But sadly, the surface world is no more. Your civilization is gone. It was been replaced by this wild." He exclaimed with a hand gesture out towards the city where the dead still roamed.
"I take these artifacts to protect them. They will be safe in Atlantis. Safe from the hands of Magneto or Doctor Doom." He said this time with a more heroic air. He really did think that both Doom and Magnus would do something unwise here. Not that Atlantis wouldn't, but his people were known to be more cautious with such matters. Namor then shifted and eyed Colleen wing with a more dangerous air. "There are many interested parties that would miss use this power. We cannot let them." With that said he turned back to face her with a small smile. Was she happy now? There was most of the truth laid bare. He must try to charm her now. See if she was interested. "I am Namor, King of the seas. Please join me fair one. You are both beautiful and wise. It would be such a shame to not learn more about you."
