"The collective 'you'," Steve corrected with a sigh, "Meaning you, both of you, went without informing anyone else."
"I'm very well aware of what you did, Clint. And if you'd kept your head, or waited five minutes to discuss your plan with us, I might even be proud of you. But you put this whole group in danger. I don't deny that you got Pietro back. And congratulations on that. But this was not the time to be dealing out revenge. You could have got him without anyone knowing you were there."
Clint's finally comment earned a look. "That's not the same and you know it, Clint. It's his father. That does not in any way excuse his behavior, but it is not as cut and dry and ruining off to some terrorist overlord. And the point was that all of you, all three of you, left your respective groups, without informing your team mates. You put yourselves in a dangerous situation, and if you'd been caught or killed, we might never have known. I'm not fucking happy with any of you right now, Clint, so don't think I'm defending Lehnsherr. He's had his lecture. He just doesn't keep coming back looking for another one."
