"And us," Wanda confirmed. "And other Avengers. We have nowhere else to go. We need a safe place," she reiterated. Short of actually giving up their weapons she didn't really know what they could do to prove themselves and this woman had every right to be suspicious. She was obviously an inmate, after all, and the trio were responsible for putting several of the prisoners here in the first place. Since they hadn't seen even a trace of a single guard since they'd got here, they could only assume that it was the prisoners running things. Certainly it might have been easier to secure entrance if S.H.I.E.L.D. were still in charge, but it wasn't impossible. They were making a strange request, but extreme circumstances called for extreme measures. None of them had to like it, they just had to live with it. "We can come up with rules, if you'd like," she offered, "Boundaries inside. It's a big place, surely there's enough room for all of us?" Her tone was hopeful because the sooner this was over the sooner Wanda could attend to what mattered most to her and every moment they wasted was probably another moment of her brother's life wasted.
