This new line of conversation was sticky. Peter knew Tony was only asking out of concern here. If the roles were reversed he'd want to know if all of his friends and their relations were safe too. The truth of the matter was that Aunt May was indeed back at camp waiting on the group's next move. Peter had seen to that personally. It was a difficult time living in the world during this mess, but as long as Aunt May was alive, safe, and sound he knew he could manage somehow. She was the rock in his life. The strain of having to lie to her was unnerving though. They were so close everyday, yet for all she knew Peter was safe and out of the country on a Bugle trip. But at least it kept her from fretting. He owed her that much.
"Yeah, She does." He replied slowly while eyeing the floor. "It's been tough. But, I think there's still hope. We'll make it." Building a life after all this uprooting wouldn't be easy either. Peter should be getting ready for his first semester at NYU by now. Not rooting around the National Guard depository for rations. Still, the city still had it's Avengers. She wasn't out of the game just yet.
