The tongue attack was a nice surprise. You don't see that every day. Of course, Spidey knew something was coming for him. He could feel it via his Spider Sense. For some reason though, he'd just assumed the source was from another gun that one of these three rejects had hidden on them. That was what he'd been expecting, but oh how wrong he was. Peter felt the sticky thing wrap around his throat and knew right then he was about to get thrown. Call it what you will, but after getting thrown through enough brick walls a person eventually comes to a certain understanding when the same thing is about to happen again. He gave a brief struggle with the tongue and then saw Iron Man blast the mutant with a quick shot of his replusor weapon. That was when the creep decided to throw him, and off Spidey went right through a wall. "Oooof." He came out the other side and hit a pile of Two by Fours with a smash.
"Oh, and the day was going so well." groaned Peter as he sat up after a moment. Well, at least nothing was seriously broken and the costume wasn't as torn as it could be. Parker luck, for ya. Spidey got to his feet and made for the door. That's when he noticed the lone zombie coming for him. Looked like a construction worker. "Hi there." He webbed the poor fellow to the wall and then turned to crawl back through the hole he'd come through.
