"Me too. I should have told you what was going on. Thing is, I've been out of medication for a few weeks now. This was just bound to happen." He offered admitting yet another dear secret. Calvin typically tried to keep the whole meds thing under wraps, but hell what was the point now? There really was no rational excuse for the yelling or the cursing. It was time to come clean. Maybe get a fresh start. He watched her walk over and have a seat on the bed with a twinge of nervous apprehension. It was so strange. Here he was without a collar on and having a chat with someone that he'd just cursed.
"I think we could give it a shot." Cal offered at last. "I was once an X-Man." He said with a raised eyebrow. It almost felt like he was convincing himself of the idea. It had really been that long ago. Back in the spandex days. Just a different world really. Everything was new now, and he just couldn't afford not to adapt to the times. Magneto had betrayed him. That was fact, and no amount of hiding was going to change it. The Brotherhood was still his home and his family, nothing would change that. For now, though maybe Cal could do worse then enjoying the X-mansion again. One thing was for sure, it really was going to be a learning experience.
