At Tony, Kate sighed like that empty promise was a dream come true, a private giggle fluttering behind her lips as she went off to retrieve her arrow. It was when she was jogging back that the thing with horns crossed her line of sight, and she blinked several times to be sure that she was seeing it right. She must have been, because Wicked was seeing it too, and Tony who was compelled to say something to him. Need a ride, big boy? wasn't the first thing Kate would say to a strange-looking man...had he not seen the Hitcher? Kate really hoped he was kidding--there was no way those horns were going to fit in the backseat.
"I'm seeing it alright," she confirmed, moving in to assess the situation. With a quick glance, she beckoned Wicked to come with her to back Tony up just to be safe, slowly approaching the side of him, eyes fixed curiously at the armored, and apparently injured, stranger that had come their way.
