I'll just stroll in now...
Loki had been walking for hours at this point, he'd made good time given the early start. Though it disconcerted him that he had yet to come across any sign of human dwelling for miles and the places he had, had been deserted. Though it was probably best, given his injured state, he wouldn't be in much a fit state to defend himself against a worthy opponent. He couldn't help but think resentfully of Coulson, the disgusting human filth. His eyes still stung from the pepper spray and the back of his throat felt raw, his chest felt tight from where he'd been tasered and his side was still bleeding from where he'd been stabbed.
Overall his day could have started off better. The armour was making it very hard to move, but he dare not take it off lest he be surprised by some more lovely agents... though now he came to think of it, it was probably more the locals he should be weary of. He could have teleported but he'd used so much magic destroying the cubic building he'd been imprisoned in, so for now it was best to walk and keep that particular escape route open for when he really needed it. His wounds were healing, but he still felt rather light headed and drowsy from exhaustion and the hot sun blazing down on his back. He saw some trees up ahead and made that his goal. He would rest a while, he didn't mind slumming it, anything was better then his lodgings with the barbaric Chitauri. The less said about them the better.
And so he continued to walk, not noticing the three people and their car until he crossed them...
