Even with the sword, Happy didn't feel good about leaving the kid, but it did help his conscience a little. He didn't have much time to worry about it either way as the door to the gym flew open and Happy raised his fists, defensive, like he'd really be able to punch one of those monsters to death or something. He was really glad to have the kid nearby now.
He dropped his fists as soon as he saw Spider-woman. It took him a second to process what she was saying but he immediately went into action, moving past her out of the door and headed for the stairwell up. There was no chance he wouldn't get up to the Penthouse to search for Pepper and Anthony. Happy was stopped once again by a door flying open; this time it was the one at the stairwell as one of the creatures came through, roaring. Happy ducked just in time because the thing shot out a burst of energy at him that missed him but hit Spider-Woman, who'd followed him out, square in the chest.
